Agridry International Pty Ltd is a manufacturer of grain and food processing drying equipment used by the Australian Agri industry. Operating since 1976, the manufacturing facility is located in Toowoomba, Queensland. (1 3/4 hours drive from Brisbane).

Position Description:
This role is for General Manager reporting directly to the parent company’s Chief Executive Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for the sales, financial results, administration and operation of the business.
Past Experience and Responsibility:
1. Maintain existing sales while growing the business through strategic development of new and existing accounts both in Australia and overseas
2. Manage production and distribution operations for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
3. Ensure safety, health and environment standards are practiced and maintained.
Education & Training:
1. Tertiary education in a business discipline or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a similar role.
3. Solid track record in sales growth and business management.
4. Previous proven results in delivering significant cost savings through resourcing to low cost manufacturing centres.
5. Understanding and worked with lean manufacturing principles.
6. Well developed written communication, report writing and business proposal skills are an essential part of this role.
