United Foodservice Equipment Ltd (an Australian invested Chinese company) is a leading and well-established OEM / ODM commercial appliance manufacturer located in China. We specialize in producing a wide range of commercial electric & gas cooking equipment for leading global foodservice equipment brands.
We are now looking for a high quality candidate to lead our modern manufacturing operation in Zhuhai, China
General Responsibilities of a Factory Manager / Production Manager:
The responsibility of the Factory Manager/Production Manager is to implement the CEO and boards strategic vision. The core duty of a Factory Manager/Production manager is to guide employees towards a central objective. The Factory Manager/Production Manager will be in charge of the total management of the manufacturing facility.

VISIONARY / INFORMATION BEARER
1: Ensures staff and CEO have sufficient and up-to-date information
2: Looks to the future for change opportunities
3: Interfaces between CEO and employees

1: Formulates policies and planning recommendations to the CEO
2: Decides or guides courses of action in operations by staff
MANAGER
1: Oversees operations of organization
2: Implements plans
UFE Job Description – Factory Manager/ Production Manager
1.CEO Support
Supports CEO by advising and informing the CEO of the day to day status of operations, interfacing between CEO and staff, and supporting CEO’s vision
2. Program, Product and Service Delivery
Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services
3. Financial, Tax, Risk and Facilities Management
Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations
Preferred Background Requirements:
The Factory Manager / Production Manager should have the following:
1: 10 years minimum manufacturing experience in a relevant manufacturing environment of which 7 years has been at a senior management level.
2: Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline is an advantage
3: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Must have strong leadership and problem solving skills
4: ISO experience.
5: Knowledge of Kanban, Six Sigma or alternative lean production methods and their implementation is essential.
6: IT literate, able to use ERP systems, Microsoft programs etc.
7: Immediate availability is an advantage.
