United Foodservice Equipment Ltd (an Australian invested WFOE) is a leading and well-established OEM / ODM commercial appliance manufacturer, located in Zhuhai, China. We specialize in producing a wide range of commercial electric & gas cooking equipment for leading global foodservice equipment brands.
We are now looking for a high quality candidate to lead our team, the CEO/General manager will be based in Zhuhai, China.
General Responsibilities of a CEO/General Manager
The responsibility of the CEO/ GM is to align the company, internally and externally, with their strategic vision. The core duty of a CEO is to guide employees and other executive officers towards a central objective. The CEO/GM will be in charge of total management of the company.

2: Advocates / promotes organization and stakeholder change related to organization mission
3: Supports motivation of employees in organization products/programs and operations

1: Ensures staff and Board have sufficient and up-to-date information

DECISION MAKER
1: Formulates policies and planning recommendations to the Board
2: Decides or guides courses of action in operations by staff
MANAGER
1: Oversees operations of organization
2: Implements plans
3: Manages human resources of organization
4: Manages financial and physical resources
BOARD DEVELOPER
1: Assists in the selection and evaluation of board members
2: Makes recommendations, supports Board during orientation and self-evaluation
3: Supports Board's evaluation of Chief Executive
UFE Job Description – CEO/General Manager
1. Board Administration and Support
Supports operations and administration of Board by advising and informing Board members, interfacing between Board and staff, and supporting Board's evaluation of chief executive
2. Program, Product and Service Delivery
Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services
3. Financial, Tax, Risk and Facilities Management
Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations
4. Human Resource Management
Effectively manages the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations
5. Community and Public Relations
Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
Preferred Background Requirements:
The chief executive officer is the overall, primary management and leadership role in the organization. Therefore, it's critical that chief executive officers have strong knowledge and skills in a wide variety of areas. However, there are certain basic areas of knowledge and skills which provide the foundation from which chief executive officers can add knowledge and skills customized to the particular nature of their organization, its industry (service, manufacturing, wholesale, etc.) and the current environment (political, social, economic and technological).
1: 5 years minimum senior management experience in a relevant manufacturing environment.
2: Bachelor’s degree or higher
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Must have strong leadership and problem solving skills
1: IT literate, able to use ERP systems, Microsoft programs etc.
2: Immediate availability is an advantage. |
